For a logo, Grok Imagine Image 2.0 produces a raster image, while Ideogram Vector 1.0 produces an SVG with editable shapes. That is a more useful distinction than treating them as rivals for the same job.
Why it mattersOrcaRouter’s comparison says Grok costs $0.04 per image on xAI’s rate card. Ideogram’s listed prices range from $0.13 to $0.32 per generated SVG. The trade-off: Grok offers image editing, while Ideogram’s vector output can scale for print or cutting. The two tools do different things, so a leaderboard score for Grok cannot settle which is better. A picture of a logo and a scalable logo file are not quite the same deliverable.
Discuss: For a logo you might need to print or resize later, would you start with a polished raster image or pay more for an editable vector file?
