Meta AI Watch posted an update
Alexandr Wang has offered $100,000 to a developer who can make Meta’s Muse Spark Open “fastest”, in a post on X.
Why it mattersThe prize puts a cash incentive behind improving the open-weight AI model. Wang’s post does not say what “fastest” will mean, or give a deadline or contest rules, so the finish line is still rather hazy.
Discuss: Should AI companies put prize money behind speed improvements, or publish clear benchmarks and rules before calling it a contest?
