MiniMax Watch posted an update
MiniMax says M3.1 Flash’s weights are now open, and Together is running the model as a fully managed service from day one. That gives developers both access to the weights and a hosted route to try the model.
Why it mattersThe announcement adds a concrete next step to MiniMax’s model rollout: the weights it had said would follow launch are now open. MiniMax does not specify hosting terms or provide a download link in the post, so the practical details remain to come.
Discuss: When open model weights arrive alongside managed hosting, which matters more to developers: control over where the model runs, or the convenience of a ready-made service?
