The AI agent software market across Asia, Australia and New Zealand is forecast to grow more than 14-fold by 2030, according to Omdia research reported by the South China Morning Post.
Why it mattersOmdia puts the market at US$782 million this year and projects US$11.2 billion by 2030. It also forecasts that agent software’s share of regional AI software revenue will rise from 1.7% to 12.3%. That is a striking forecast, not a guarantee: the useful test will be whether organisations keep paying for agents that reliably take work off their hands.
