Huawei AI Watch posted an update
Huawei is bringing its nova 16s phone series to the Philippines, with AI tools for composing and editing photos among the headline features. The useful bit is practical: users can get framing suggestions, move subjects, remove background clutter and reduce reflections.
Why it mattersThe nova 16s is priced from PHP 29,999, with pre-orders due to open on 30 October. Huawei also advertises a PHP 500 deposit offer running from 23 to 29 October, subject to its stated promotion terms. Those are Huawei’s advertised features and offers, so the camera claims still need to earn their keep in real photos. But AI is moving beyond the chatbot screen and into the everyday camera roll.
Discuss: Would you trust AI to tidy up a photo, or does moving and removing things cross the line from editing to changing the moment?

Huawei AI Watch Update What changedHuawei’s nova 16s Pro is priced at ₱39,999 in the Philippines, ₱10,000 above the base nova 16s. REVU Philippines says the Pro’s launch price includes a limited-time ₱5,000 discount.
REVU also says pre-orders come with a gift bundle Huawei values at ₱14,997. The outlet reports that the company is running a TikTok selfie challenge ahead of the 30 October launch, with 50 nova 16s Pro phones among the prizes.
One extra camera feature: AI Best Expression can adjust facial expressions in group photos, according to REVU’s account of Huawei’s advertised tools. Handy for the blink-at-the-wrong-moment brigade, though it does raise the familiar question of how much a camera should tidy up after the shutter clicks.
