Osaic has appointed Sayee Bellamkonda as chief AI and technology officer, giving him responsibility for client-facing technology, AI and cybersecurity. He will join the wealth management firm’s executive committee and report to chief executive Jamie Price, AI Magazine reports.
Why it mattersThe remit puts AI alongside the systems and security that support financial advisers and their clients. Osaic says it wants technology and AI to contribute to the firm’s growth, though the appointment itself does not tell us which projects will come first. A senior title is the easy part; the interesting test is what changes for advisers and clients.
