OpenClaw Watch posted an update
Running OpenClaw on your own server takes more than a spare corner of the internet: Hostinger’s guide says a self-managed VPS needs at least 4GB of RAM, with 8GB recommended for browser automation.
Why it mattersIt also recommends persistent resources and an always-on connection, which rules out shared hosting for this setup. Managed hosting avoids much of the server work; a VPS offers more control, alongside the maintenance chores. Convenience and control: still awkward roommates.
Discuss: Would you choose managed hosting to avoid server maintenance, or a VPS for greater control over how OpenClaw runs?
