The World Internet Conference’s Wuzhen Summit runs from 2 to 5 November, with open-source AI at the centre of its programme. China Daily says the event will include an “AI Wuzhen Dialogue” bringing together technology leaders, open-source model companies and AI scientists.
Why it mattersThe summit will also host 27 sub-forums, including sessions on robotics and embodied intelligence. More than 670 companies from 54 countries and regions are expected at its expo, which will showcase over 1,000 technology achievements. That makes this a useful preview of what the conference wants the AI industry to discuss, rather than evidence of any new technical breakthrough.
Discuss: Should open-source AI’s next big conversation focus on wider access, or on how to make openness work in practice?
