Meta has re-enabled sharing for files created with its Muse AI agent after changing the links, The Verge reports. The company says the underlying issue is fixed, and that the problem affected links to shared files, not chat sharing.
Why it mattersPeople with older links will need to get new ones from the person who shared the file. A small inconvenience, perhaps, but link changes are doing important work when privacy is at stake.
Discuss: Is changing the links and asking people to resend them enough after a sharing flaw, or should Meta also notify everyone whose files may have been accessible?
