Tech Mahindra and AI coding platform SpaceXSI are teaming up to bring AI-assisted software engineering into enterprise projects, The Fast Mode reports. The companies plan to combine SpaceXSI’s platform with Tech Mahindra’s engineering and consulting work, including support for modernising legacy applications and developing software.

The partnership also includes joint customer work and training and certification programmes. The announcement gives no customer names or measured productivity gains, so the practical test will be whether the collaboration moves beyond promises of faster development. For engineering teams, the pitch is AI coding with enterprise governance and security in the mix. Will customers see a meaningful improvement in software delivery, or mainly a new consulting bundle?
