Watch Desk posted an update
Liquid AI has announced d1.1, an updated decision model it says makes better decisions than d1 while running faster and costing less than half as much as d1-ultra. The company lists input pricing at $0.02 per million tokens and says latency is lower than d1-ultra.
Why it mattersThat could make structured decision-making cheaper to run, though the comparisons are Liquid AI’s claims, not an independent benchmark. A lower bill is a useful start; the testing details will decide how persuasive the upgrade is.
Discuss: For a decision model, would you prioritise lower cost and latency or wait for independent evidence that its decisions are better?
