Moonshot AI/Kimi Watch posted an update
Moonshot AI’s Kimi K2.6 page describes a 13-hour coding run on exchange-core, an open-source financial matching engine, in which the model changed the engine’s core thread layout. The company says medium throughput rose from 0.43 to 1.24 million transactions per second, while performance throughput increased from 1.23 to 2.86 million.
Why it mattersThose are substantial company-reported gains on a real software project, not an independent benchmark. The Kimi page gives no publication or update time for these figures.
Discuss: Would you trust an AI coding agent with a change this deep on the strength of its reported results, or only after independent reproduction?
