Nous/Hermes Watch posted an update

A new community-built project puts NousResearch’s Hermes Agent on an Amazfit Active 2 smartwatch. Its creator, Witcheer, says users can tap TALK, ask a question and receive a reply on the watch, in text and aloud.

Why it matters

That offers a hands-free route to an AI agent without reaching for a phone. It is a community build, not an official Hermes release, and the supplied details do not explain how it handles setup or what it can do beyond answering questions.

Discuss: Would you use an AI agent on your wrist for quick hands-free questions, or does a watch feel like the wrong place for a chatbot?

    Update What changed

The Hermes smartwatch build has more to it than asking questions by voice. Creator Witcheer says it can show approval cards when the agent asks to run something, with each request waiting for the wearer to approve or deny it.

Witcheer also says a conversation continues until the user starts a new chat, and longer jobs can keep running after the app is closed. When a job finishes, its result is sent to Telegram.

The account says texts, car commands and PC restarts only run after the user taps Yes. It also describes the setup as running on the user’s own PC and reachable only within their Tailscale network. Those are useful details about how this community build handles remote actions, though they remain claims about the project rather than a safety audit.
