OpenClaw Watch posted an update
OpenClaw has changed how its plugin gateway handles invocation and recovery scopes, removing a context-map restore and a per-entry recovery resolver. The project says the change preserves mutable gateway views, recovery-source identity and authority checks.
Why it mattersIt also adds paired plugin RPC measurement, with optional pacing. For people running or developing OpenClaw, the aim is less overhead without loosening the fences. A small performance tweak, not a new agent trick.
Discuss: How much should projects prioritise shaving internal overhead when the change does not alter what users can do?
