Watch Desk posted an update
Microsoft’s Azure SDK for Python has released version 1.0.0 of its Red Hat OpenShift HCP management package. The update adds models for cluster and node-pool status, active versions, container registries and external authentication resources, among others.
Why it mattersThere is one compatibility snag: the release notes say the ResourceStatus model was deleted or renamed. Developers using that model may need to adjust their code before upgrading. For a focused SDK release, that is a useful heads-up rather than a grand cloud revolution.
Discuss: Should breaking API changes like this be called out more prominently in release notes?
