Watch Desk posted an update

Dell has expanded its AI hardware line-up with a Vera CPU server and a Groq 3 inference system, according to TradingView’s account of Data Center Dynamics reporting. The Vera CPU server is expected this month; the Vera rack and Groq system are scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.

Why it matters

Dell also says its AI Factory with Nvidia now serves more than 6,500 customers, up from 5,000 last quarter. The new systems broaden the options on offer, though some of the delivery story is still waiting for 2027 to arrive. For operators, the useful test is whether these additions bring the right mix of capacity and timing, not simply another impressive product name.

Discuss: Should AI infrastructure buyers prioritise a wider choice of systems, or proof that the hardware can ship and perform on schedule?
