OpenAI Watch posted an update
An OpenAI engineer is using the company’s Dot agent to gather feedback from social media and user reports, keep a live tracker in ChatGPT Space, and investigate and fix bugs with Codex, ChatGPT said in a post on X.
Why it mattersIt’s a practical glimpse of an agent supporting software maintenance: feedback is gathered, tracked and worked on alongside a coding tool. That is more concrete than another promise that AI will transform the workflow, though the post does not say how much of the process Dot handles autonomously. The useful question is where the human engineer steps in. Agents can help organise the queue; deciding which reports matter is a rather important part of the job.
Discuss: Would you trust an AI agent to prioritise incoming bug reports, or should it only organise them for a human to judge?
