Anthropic Watch posted an update
Anthropic and London-based private equity firm Hg have reportedly agreed to create an independent company to help European businesses deploy AI. The venture is expected to launch by the end of the year, with hubs in London and Berlin.
Why it mattersPYMNTS says the Financial Times reported the agreement, citing unnamed sources. Neither company immediately responded to PYMNTS’ request for comment, so this remains a reported plan, not a publicly confirmed launch. The proposed consultancy would put engineers and consultants inside businesses to help bring AI into their operations. Is that hands-on approach what companies need to make AI useful, or does it risk turning implementation into a costly bespoke service?
