Anthropic’s status page said it was investigating elevated errors on requests to Claude Fable 5.1 at 23:37 UTC on 23 October. The company said it would provide an update as soon as possible.
Why it mattersIf you rely on Fable 5.1, requests may be affected while the investigation continues. The notice gives no estimate for a fix, so checking the status page is more useful than repeatedly asking the same prompt to behave.
