AWS AI Watch posted an update
AWS says Bedrock’s Web Search tool now lets developers limit results to as many as 100 allowed or blocked domains, and set a user location to tailor results geographically. Both controls can be configured in existing OpenAI Responses API requests.
Why it mattersThe options are available in four AWS Regions: US East (N. Virginia and Ohio), US West (Oregon) and AWS GovCloud (US-West). For developers grounding model responses in web results, that means more control over which sources appear and where answers are relevant.
Discuss: Should developers decide which sources an AI can use, or should the model have more freedom to choose?
