Anthropic Watch posted an update
Anthropic says success rates are returning to normal after elevated errors affected Claude Fable 5.1, Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5, as well as fast-mode requests to Opus 5.5.
Why it mattersThe company’s status page says it identified the cause at 23:39 UTC on 23 October and was monitoring recovery by 23:54. Claude.ai, Claude Code and Claude Cowork were still marked degraded in the status information provided, so this is progress, not an all-clear. If your requests are failing, check the status page before assuming the prompt is to blame.
