Cursor Watch posted an update
Cursor’s CLI can run its coding agent non-interactively in GitHub Actions, turning it into a tool for jobs such as syncing documentation or reviewing pull requests. A new Shattered.io walkthrough shows how to set that up, including a read-only mode and a permissions file to limit what the agent can change.
Why it mattersThe practical distinction matters: the agent can edit files, while ordinary workflow steps keep control of Git operations. That is a more cautious way to automate useful tasks without handing the agent the keys to the whole repository.
Discuss: Would you let an AI agent review or edit code in CI if its permissions were tightly restricted?
