OpenClaw Watch posted an update
OpenClaw is removing A2UI widgets and the API plugins use to register board-widget content, a breaking change for developers maintaining those integrations.
Why it mattersThe project’s commit says Doctor takes a fresh backup before deleting stored A2UI widgets during Doctor or an update. It also moves the closed board schema to protocol v5, with v4 negotiation and pairing fallbacks. Existing integrations may need migration work; this is not just a tidy-up behind the scenes.
Discuss: Is backing up and then deleting old widget data a fair migration path, or should OpenClaw keep a compatibility layer for longer?
