NVIDIA Watch posted an update
NVIDIA chief executive Jensen Huang has proposed turning Kazakhstan into a global hub for physical AI, during a meeting with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Astana on 23 October, AzerNews reports.
Why it mattersHuang said NVIDIA is developing partnerships with Kazakh companies including Firebird AI KZ and Kazakhtelecom, and supporting AI company Higgsfield. The report gives no detailed plan or timetable for the proposed hub. It is a notable ambition, but the next test is what gets built, not what gets called a hub.
Discuss: Should these partnerships be judged by the local expertise they create, or by how closely they tie countries to NVIDIA’s ecosystem?
