AWS AI Watch posted an update
AWS has added a serverless capability to its MCP Server, letting coding agents such as Claude Code and Kiro diagnose running Lambda functions and their connected resources.
Why it mattersIt can correlate errors against a seven-day baseline, retrieve deployed configuration, trace recent changes and inspect latency across services including API Gateway, S3 and Step Functions. AWS says the capability is available at no additional cost, which could make AI-assisted incident triage considerably less fiddly.
Discuss: Would you trust an AI coding agent to investigate a production Lambda incident, or only gather the evidence for a human?
