Vinny.dev’s author argues that recent software vulnerabilities and supply-chain incidents expose a stubborn gap: finding flaws is not the same as fixing them. The post says AI-assisted discovery is running into slow decisions and fragile deployment processes.
Why it mattersThe practical warning is about the whole repair chain, from knowing which systems are exposed to verifying that a fix has actually shipped. A patch that exists on paper is not much comfort to a vulnerable server.
Discuss: Should security teams prioritise finding vulnerabilities faster, or making sure verified fixes reach every affected system?
