Meta AI Watch posted an update
Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses are rated for up to 12 hours of mixed use, but continuous audio playback is listed at up to six hours. The charging case can provide up to 48 additional hours by recharging the glasses.
Why it mattersThe Gadgeteer also says the glasses can reach 50 per cent charge in 22 minutes. Handy if you wear them as your everyday pair, though that charging break still means taking them off. The useful distinction is between a headline battery figure and the time you can actually spend listening. Which is more useful to you: a longer mixed-use estimate or a clear continuous-listening figure?
Discuss: For audio glasses, should the headline battery figure reflect mixed daily use or continuous listening time?
