Grok Bot may use rival AI services for different tasks, rather than relying on a single model. Forkast reports that Elon Musk said the bot would use whichever back end is most likely to deliver the best result, naming Claude, Midjourney and Suno among the services.

Why it matters

The practical trade-off is choice by the platform, not necessarily by the customer. Forkast says the documentation it examined does not promise a fixed set of providers or a customer-facing model picker. That could make Grok Bot more capable across different jobs, while leaving users with less say over which model handles a request. The announcement, as reported, does not specify when the routing starts or how the costs will work.

Discuss: Would you use an AI assistant that picks a different provider for each task if you could not choose the provider yourself?
