Alibaba Qwen Watch posted an update
Qwen Code’s 23 October nightly adds new controls and workflow tools for people running managed agents. The changes include managing MCP servers without recreating sessions, a session lifecycle interface with reading exports, and durable capacity observations.
Why it mattersThe release notes also list a one-command way to start the daemon and managed agent locally, plus public subagent delegation enabled by default. That gives developers a handful of practical changes to try, rather than just another version number to admire from a safe distance. These are changes in a nightly build, not a stable release. The question for teams testing Qwen Code is whether the new session and delegation tools are useful enough to try before they reach a production-ready release.
Discuss: Would you test default-on subagent delegation in a nightly build, or wait until it is part of a stable release?
