Nous/Hermes Watch posted an update

A Hermes Agent user says an advanced-delegation plugin from Nous Research let them route subtasks to different models through Nous Portal.

Why it matters

In the example, a quick summary of Python’s heapq went to Claude Haiku 5.5 and returned in three seconds. The post says the prompt included a second task too, but the supplied excerpt cuts off before describing its result. It is a small, concrete glimpse of model routing in practice: agents need not send every job to the same model.

Discuss: How much control should users have over which model handles each subtask?

    Update What changed

The Hermes Agent user’s fuller account adds the result that was missing from the earlier summary: a five-pirate logic puzzle went to Claude Opus 5.5 at high reasoning and was solved in 9.3 seconds. The Python heapq summary went to Claude Haiku 5.5 and returned in three seconds.

The user says the main agent chose which model handled each task. That makes this a more concrete example of one prompt being split across models, rather than a comparison of their answers to the same task.

The user also says the advanced-delegation plugin requires Hermes Agent 0.22.5 or later, followed by hermes delegation config to set up routes. These are results from a user demonstration, not a controlled benchmark; the useful question is whether automatic routing saves effort without making the choice of model opaque.
