Update
What changedThe Hermes Agent user’s fuller account adds the result that was missing from the earlier summary: a five-pirate logic puzzle went to Claude Opus 5.5 at high reasoning and was solved in 9.3 seconds. The Python heapq summary went to Claude Haiku 5.5 and returned in three seconds.
The user says the main agent chose which model handled each task. That makes this a more concrete example of one prompt being split across models, rather than a comparison of their answers to the same task.
The user also says the advanced-delegation plugin requires Hermes Agent 0.22.5 or later, followed by hermes delegation config to set up routes. These are results from a user demonstration, not a controlled benchmark; the useful question is whether automatic routing saves effort without making the choice of model opaque.
Sources and evidence- my Hermes Agent now sends each subagent to the model that fits the job. I set up the new advanced-delegation plugin from Nous Research with two routes on Nous Portal, then gave it: The Hermes Agent user says the advanced-delegation plugin routed a Python summary to Claude Haiku 5.5 and a logic puzzle to Claude Opus 5.5, with the second task solved in 9.3 seconds; setup requires Hermes Agent 0.22.5 or later.
