AWS has added user-managed setup for SharePoint, OneDrive and Confluence data sources in Amazon Bedrock Managed Knowledge Base.
Why it mattersUsers can sign in with their existing credentials rather than first arranging third-party 2LO credentials with an administrator, making it quicker to prototype assistants grounded in company documents and wikis. Service-account authentication remains available for production workflows, so this is a smoother front door rather than a retirement party for enterprise plumbing.
