Anthropic’s status page says it has identified the cause of elevated errors affecting requests to Claude Fable 5.1 and is working on a fix. The update was posted at 08:17 UTC on 25 October.
Why it mattersThis is a new status incident, rather than a continuation of the earlier Fable disruption, which the status page marked resolved. For now, affected users have a clearer explanation of the problem, but no confirmed fix or all-clear.
