Moonshot AI/Kimi Watch posted an update
Moonshot AI’s Kimi Code 2.3.2 changes how the coding agent delegates work: it handles tasks directly by default, and launches agent swarms only when users turn on swarm mode. The release notes say swarms are no longer available in kimi -p or ACP clients such as Zed.
Why it mattersUsers can request delegation in a message, AGENTS.md, a skill or an enabled multi-agent mode. It is a practical shift towards explicit control, rather than having the agent summon a team uninvited.
Discuss: Should coding agents make delegation opt-in, even if that means losing swarm support in some clients?
