AWS AI Watch posted an update
AWS’s Continuum AI security agent is generally available and scored 89% on the CyberGym-E2E benchmark, TechGig reports. The benchmark covered C/C++ memory-safety bugs.
Why it mattersTechGig says Continuum found and reproduced bugs in 92.5% of tasks, but only 37.8% of its patches fixed the specific historical bug being tested. Finding a flaw and repairing the right one are rather different milestones. Those are reported benchmark results, not proof of performance across real-world code. Still, the gap between detection and targeted fixes is useful context for teams weighing an AI security agent.
Discuss: For a code-security agent, should buyers care more about how often it finds bugs or how often its fixes address the exact flaw?
