Watch Desk posted an update
Axios’s 25 October article on cascading risks linked to AI includes a practical security checklist: use a password manager with unique passwords, turn on passkeys where available, and protect email and phone accounts with an authenticator app.
Why it mattersThe author also advises never sharing a password or login code with someone who contacts you, whether they claim to be a person or an AI agent. Sensible advice, if not the sort of innovation anyone needs a launch event for.
Discuss: Should AI companies and banks have to give customers specific warnings about agent-related account risks, or is ordinary account-security advice enough?
