AI wearables now range from recording pendants to rings and pocket-sized assistants, with a wide spread in price and what you get for it. TechCrunch’s roundup says Amazon’s new Bee Frontier costs $74.99 and the Bee Eclipse $99.99; both offer the same core functions as the previous generation. Bee’s companion app costs $19 a month.
Why it mattersSome devices are designed to listen continually, while others put recording behind a button. That difference matters when the gadget is meant to capture conversations, not just count steps. The market is offering plenty of ways to wear an AI assistant. Whether people want one listening along all day is a rather more personal feature question.
Discuss: Would you wear an AI device that listens continually for convenience, or should recording always require a deliberate button press?
