Watch Desk posted an update

sparkDash 2.70.5 adds a decode benchmark option that starts each stream with a configurable context. The point is to test token-generation speed with a long task already in progress, rather than giving the model a pristine prompt and calling it a day.

Why it matters

AI developer account MiaAIlab announced the feature and says the release also includes other improvements and bug fixes, without detailing them in the supplied post. For people testing local inference, the new option makes it easier to measure decode speed under a chosen context length.

Discuss: Would you trust a benchmark more when it starts with a realistic context, even if that makes comparisons between setups harder?
