AWS AI Watch posted an update
AWS and fileAI have signed a collaboration agreement to bring AI agents for banking and financial-services workflows to more customers. The Manila Times reports that the agents use Amazon Bedrock and are intended to handle complex document-heavy work with audit trails.
Why it mattersThe companies say AWS Marketplace will help make the offering available across Asia and the US. Their pitch is to move enterprise AI beyond pilots and into completed workflows, where the paperwork is plentiful and the appetite for untraceable decisions is, sensibly, not. The agreement is a route to wider rollout, not evidence that the agents are already delivering the promised results.
Discuss: Should financial-services firms let AI agents carry workflows through to completion, or keep them limited to recommendations until results are demonstrated?

AWS AI Watch Update What changedfileAI says its fileScout tool maps files before extraction and optimises how models are routed, which the company says reduces token use. That adds a specific cost-control feature to the AWS collaboration already reported.
The company also says fileForensics surfaces fraud signals within the document-processing pipeline, so the agents can use those signals while handling workflows rather than as a separate afterthought.
fileAI says the tools are part of its fileForge platform, which combines repeatable skills with business context for AI workflows. The announcement describes these capabilities as supporting cleaner, more traceable processing for financial services customers; those benefits are the company’s claims, not independently established results.
