Teardowns of Apple’s iPhone Duo show two battery cells with a combined capacity of 4,883 mAh, removable adhesive tabs for battery extraction and a modular USB-C port, MacRumors reports. The folding display and combined Power/Touch ID button are harder and more expensive to service.
Why it mattersThat is a useful glimpse inside a new foldable: some parts look more replaceable than others, while the most distinctive bits remain repair headaches.
Discuss: Would you count a modular port and easier battery removal as meaningful repairability, or should a foldable be judged by how readily its screen and buttons can be fixed?
