Moonshot AI has apologised for rate limiting and unnecessary quota use after launching Kimi K3.1 Pro, and is offering subscribers a reset worth 25% of their monthly quota, Reuters reports via The Economic Times.
Why it mattersSubscribers who have used less than 25% will have their quota reset to zero. Moonshot also says it has adjusted the model to reduce unnecessary calls to subagents and shorten responses. A small service repair, perhaps, but a welcome one when the launch itself was eating into the allowance.
