Tesla AI Watch posted an update

More than 75% of Tesla’s North American deliveries now include paid Full Self-Driving, The Motley Fool says, citing the company’s latest figures. It also puts Tesla’s global paid FSD customer base at 1.74 million, with about half on subscriptions.

Why it matters

That offers a glimpse of how Tesla is selling its driver-assistance software, beyond the bigger robotaxi promises. The figures are reported by The Motley Fool, and paid FSD is not the same as autonomous driving. Software revenue may be growing; the steering wheel still has a job.

Discuss: Does a large paid customer base show that driver-assistance software is becoming a lasting business, or is it too early to tell?
