Christian Tour has launched Vacanza.ro for booking flights and accommodation, with an AI trip-planning assistant in development. The proposed tool would turn a destination or travel idea into suggestions for flights, stays, routes, daily plans and places to visit.

The planner is still being developed and tested internally, so it is not a feature travellers can use yet. For now, Vacanza.ro offers separate flight and accommodation bookings, drawing on several travel providers and more than three million properties worldwide. That is a sensible travel problem to tackle: stitching a holiday together can feel like a part-time job. The test will be whether the AI can make useful plans, not simply add another itinerary-shaped button.

Discuss: Would you trust an AI to build your whole holiday itinerary, or would you rather keep control of each booking yourself?
