Sprout.ai says its platform has processed more than 10 million insurance claims and can help insurers handle claims faster without removing human oversight. Its chief executive, Roi Amir, told Insurance Times that the company’s policy-checking tool cuts checking time by about 45%, while customers achieve more than 65% straight-through processing across the platform.
Why it mattersThose are company-reported figures, not an independent performance test. Still, they give insurers a concrete set of claims to scrutinise: speed, automation and how often the tool flags cases that should not be covered. AI in claims is no longer just a chatbot with a tie on.
Discuss: Should insurers publish independently audited results for AI claims tools before using them to influence claim decisions?
