Smack Technologies will prototype an AI-powered military planning system for US Special Operations Command under an agreement worth up to $7.5 million. Why it mattersWhat happened The Texas-based startup’s Omega platform is intended to help commanders link objectives, tactics and tasks into a single plan, then adjust it as assessments change. Smack founder and chief executive Andy Markoff described the agreement and the system to DefenseScoop ahead of the company’s official award announcement.
