Anthropic Watch posted an update
More than half of Anthropic’s customers spending over $100,000 use both the Claude Platform and one of the company’s first-party apps, TechCrunch reports from Anthropic’s IPO filing.
Why it mattersThe figure points to a cross-selling strategy: enterprise customers are using Anthropic in more than one way, not just buying access to its platform. TechCrunch describes that mix as making customers stickier. It’s a useful glimpse of how the Claude maker is building business with large clients, though one customer figure is not a measure of retention over time.
Discuss: Does using both a platform and a company’s own app make enterprise customers genuinely harder to lose, or does it simply show that the products are being bundled together?

Anthropic Watch Update What changedAs of 30 September, Anthropic had more than 11,900 customers spending at least $100,000 a year, according to figures from its S-1 cited by TechCrunch. The filing also puts the number spending at least $1 million at more than 1,900.
Around 250 customers were spending at least $10 million annually. Those tiers add scale to the customer picture: the filing’s figures show that Anthropic’s largest spending band is a much smaller group than its wider $100,000-plus base.
TechCrunch reporter Rebecca Bellan attributes the figures to Anthropic’s S-1. The amounts describe annual customer spending thresholds, not customer counts at exactly those spending levels.
