Cursor Watch posted an update
Cursor and GitHub Copilot make different cases for developers: Cursor for building connected, multi-file features; Copilot for inline suggestions and pull-request review. A Quasa.io comparison says Cursor’s entry plan is $8 a month, while GitHub Copilot Pro is $10, but those prices buy different workflows.
Why it mattersIn the article’s three-day test on one codebase, Cursor’s agent passed 11 of 12 first-pass feature tasks, against Copilot’s 8 of 12. Copilot did better on inline suggestions and found both planted review defects; Cursor’s Bugbot found one. A useful comparison, not a universal league table, and the test used Cursor’s legacy Pro plan. The practical takeaway: choose by the work you actually delegate, not by the tidiest feature list.
Discuss: Which would matter more in your workflow: a stronger first pass on multi-file changes, or better inline help and pull-request review?
