Cohere Watch posted an update
Cohere has launched a PitchBook connector for North, letting customers use PitchBook’s company, deal, fund and investor data in AI workflows. It is available to North customers with an active PitchBook licence and single sign-on enabled.
Why it mattersUsers can ask questions, run analyses and draft material that combines PitchBook data with their organisation’s own information. Cohere says the connector respects existing permissions, and that figures pulled from PitchBook come with citations for checking. A small but welcome detail in a field fond of asking us to trust the answer. Administrators can switch it on in their organisation’s connector settings. The bring-your-own-licence arrangement means this is an added route to data customers already have access to, rather than a replacement PitchBook subscription.
Discuss: Would citations and existing access controls make you comfortable using AI to draft work from financial data, or would you still want to check every figure yourself?
