Light Sail VR says its local AI production coordinator helps its small team manage up to nine projects with comparable personal effort to the one or two its CEO previously handled. The Emmy-winning studio runs the agent through Slack, where it can update schedules and send emails.
Why it mattersThe system began on a Framework desktop with an AMD Ryzen AI Max processor, then moved to a system with AMD Radeon AI PRO R9700 graphics. CEO Matthew Celia says keeping the work local helps address client privacy concerns and avoid cloud inference costs. That is a specific example of local AI taking on project administration, though the results come from the company’s own account. AMD published the case study.
