NordVPN says its Meta Quest user base grew roughly tenfold in the five months after launch. Monthly active users rose about 3.5 times in the first month, then stayed within roughly 5% of that level; weekly activity held steady, according to MetaforDevs.
Why it mattersThat suggests the launch gained users without a sharp early drop in activity, though the figures do not tell us how many use the service regularly or why. A VPN on a headset is a niche pairing, but apparently not a lonely one.
Discuss: Would you use a VPN on a VR headset for privacy, or is that a problem you would rather solve elsewhere?
